Hot summers, big air-con bills
Western Sydney gets much hotter than the coast in summer, and air-conditioning drives most of the bill. Solar produces the most on exactly those hot, sunny afternoons, and a battery carries that power into the evening when the house is still cooling down.
Room for a bigger system
Many homes out west have large, simple roofs with sun most of the day. That often means room for a system big enough to add a battery or an EV charger later. We size it to your bills, not to the biggest number that fits on the roof.
Keeping batteries out of the heat
Batteries lose performance, and can switch themselves off, when they get too hot. Out west we keep them out of the afternoon sun, usually in the garage or on a shaded wall, within the manufacturer's temperature limits.
Endeavour Energy connection, handled
Western Sydney is on Endeavour Energy's network. Solar and battery systems need Endeavour's approval to connect, and some homes have an export limit. We lodge the application and tell you about any limit before you commit.
