The Hills has a lot of large, newer homes with ducted air-conditioning, pools and more than one car. That much use through the day and evening is where solar and a battery earn their keep. We look at a year of your bills to size the system properly.
Three-phase homes
Many newer Hills homes have three-phase power, and that changes which batteries suit. Tesla Powerwall 3 is a single-phase battery, while Sigenergy and Sungrow both come in three-phase versions. We check your switchboard and recommend the right fit.
Acreage and bushland blocks
Blocks around Dural, Kenthurst and Galston are often on bushfire-prone land, with sheds and outbuildings a long way from the house. We check where a battery can safely go and plan the cable runs before you commit.
Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid, handled
Most of the Hills District is on Endeavour Energy's network, and a few suburbs on the Hornsby side are on Ausgrid. Either way, solar and battery systems need network approval to connect, and some homes have an export limit. We lodge the application and tell you about any limit before you commit.
