How much does a home battery cost in Sydney?

It depends on the size and brand you choose, and whether you already have solar. The federal discount takes around 30% off a typical battery. Your quote lists every item, with the discount shown as its own line.
Is the federal battery discount still available?

Yes. The Cheaper Home Batteries discount is taken off the price when your battery is installed. It is worth around $272 per kWh for the first 14 kWh until 31 December 2026, then steps down to around $228 per kWh from 1 January 2027, and keeps stepping down until 2030. The exact figure depends on your install date, usable capacity and certificate prices.
Can you add a battery to my existing solar?

Usually, yes. Most Sydney homes with solar can add a battery, either alongside the inverter you already have or by swapping to a hybrid inverter. We check your system first and tell you straight which option suits.
Are you Tesla certified?

Yes. MF Energy is a Tesla Certified Installer for Powerwall and Tesla home charging equipment in Australia.
