Coastal sites
Checked for salt air
Salt air on the coast
Plenty of Beaches homes are within a few hundred metres of the surf. Salt air corrodes frames, fixings and electrical gear, and manufacturers have rules for installing batteries and inverters near the sea. We check how close you are and choose the equipment and its location to suit.
Steep blocks and bushland
Many homes sit on steep blocks or back onto bushland, from Frenchs Forest to Elanora Heights. Bushfire-prone land limits where a battery can go, and steep sites take careful planning to get panels and gear in safely. We sort both out at the site visit.
Pools, ducted air and EVs
Pools, ducted air-conditioning and electric cars push power use up. A battery soaks up your midday solar and runs the house through the evening, and a home EV charger lets you fill the car from your own roof.
Ausgrid connection, handled
The Northern Beaches is on Ausgrid's network. Solar and battery systems need Ausgrid's approval to connect, and some homes have an export limit. We lodge the application and tell you about any limit before you commit.
